Code of Ethics

That the dignity of our chosen profession may be perpetuated, every member shall:

  • Pursue our professional work in all fairness to our clients with fidelity and high ideals of personal honor to insure the good will and confidence of the public we serve.
  • Properly and impartially analyze security problems and give the best possible solution for our clients protection without compromise to the best of our ability.
  • Conduct ourselves in an dignified manner and avoid using improper or questionable methods of solicitation and to decline to pay for or accept payment for such improper methods.
  • Refrain from association with or allowing our name to be used by any enterprise of questionable character in any manner to countenance misrepresentation.
  • Encourage and promote loyalty for our craft and interest in the public welfare.
  • Cooperate to advance the best interests of our industry by exchange of information and experience with fellow locksmiths and be always ready to apply special knowledge, skill, and training for the use and betterment of our trade.
